I don’t want anyone else to feel the same as I did
I understand how it can feel to step into a yoga class for the first time. When I began practicing yoga over 30 years ago, I did it at home watching a DVD. It took me literally years to take the plunge and go to a group yoga class. Sometimes I have to pinch myself, to know that now I am qualified yoga teacher.
The sessions
This 1:2:1 introduction to yoga over an eight session period will support you to learn yoga in the comfort of my Meridian Wellbeing Pod located just outside of Newport in Shropshire, or if you prefer via Zoom.
The sessions will be slow and gentle, nurturing your mind and body. They will be adapted to your own specific needs.
Throughout the sessions I will help you to gain confidence in your yoga practice, develop your own home practice or venture to a group class.
Prior to the sessions we will have a consultation first to discuss what you are looking to achieve, to enable a bespoke plan to be put together for you. A typical plan is below:
- The main poses in yoga
- Using props to aid your practice
- The benefit of yoga
- Meditation
- Breathwork
- Chakras
