My Journey
Having started my own personal yoga and meditation practice over 30 years ago it wasn’t until 25 years later that I started my teacher training in both areas.
Having been considering it for several years but my limiting belief was that I would never be good enough to teach students myself.
I had thoughts that – I was too fat, I wasn’t confident though, I’d never have enough knowledge, and so the list went on….
So, I initially set out to train to deepen my own knowledge and my own practice.
All my life I had struggled to speak up in groups and particularly as a child was very shy. Over the years I have worked on this and now I feel happy and enjoy teaching groups, that being said there are still times when I feel nervous but I have learnt coping strategies that I can call upon.
Coaching & Mentoring
Coaching and mentoring is a great way to get back on track, to feel positive about yourself and achieve your goals.
Through the six coaching and mentoring sessions you will work towards your goals, overcome any limiting beliefs and have a clear plan to move forward.
If you prefer to have a one-off session then this can be arranged too, the cost would be £89 for a 90 minute session.
All sessions are held via zoom or face-to-face at my Meridian Wellbeing Pod based just outside Newport in Shropshire.
Please feel free to contact me should you have any questions before booking an appointment.
About my training
I studied for a year at The British School of Meditation to qualify in teaching meditation, I also studied with YogaCourse, and still am a student of theirs, here I have done my 200hr and 300hr teacher training as well as Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra training.
I am currently studying trauma informed yoga with the Prison Phoenix Trust to enable me to take yoga and meditation into prison environments.
I work with a range of different groups from university students through to chair yoga students in their 80’s. I offer mindful flow yoga, relaxing yin yoga, hybrid yoga, meditations and am the creator of YinFusion.
Please note I am not affiliated with any provider and will help you to explore the right course for you based on your needs.
All sessions to be taken within six months of the first session.
